Yuliy Tay

Since 2001 – Managing partner of Bartolius Law Firm. Member of the Board of the International Union of Lawyers; member of the board of directors of Home Credit and Finance Bank; From 2011 to 2017, he was an arbitrator of the Gazprom Arbitration Court; Arbitrator of the Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration; Member of the Association of Antitrust Experts; member of the Board endowment of the fund VIND (“Doctors, innovations, science - for children”) at the Federal Scientific and Practical Center named after Dima Rogachev. He oversees charity issues and pro bono projects, in particular, assistance to the Charitable Foundation Podari Zhin’ (Give Life), the Galchonok Charitable Foundation, as well as other charitable foundations and private individuals. In the spring of 2021, he was elected to the Council of the Moscow Bar Association.

Teaching, scientific activity

Experience in teaching - more than 14 years. For several years he taught at the Department of International Private and Civil Law MGIMO (University). In 2019-2023, he held the position of Professor at the Higher School of Economics. He headed the academic council of the master's program "Attorney in Civil and Criminal Cases". He taught the course "Practical issues of preparation and conduct of court cases: tactics, skills of judicial representation". Law Faculty, Basic Department of Practical Jurisprudence. Lecturer of the Law Institute “M-Logos”. He is a member of the editorial board of the Bulletin of Civil Procedure, a member of the board of trustees of the Russian Law Journal (RLJ). Author of 14 monographs (co-authored) and more than 70 scientific articles.
